We are excited to announce the
NIHR UCLH BRC MH-CP
UCL Translational Computational Psychiatry Prize 2025
For: UCL early career researchers and clinicians in training who want to solve clinical problems with computational methods.
Aims of the prize:
To bring together early career researchers with computational expertise with clinicians in training who are interested in research and to facilitate the development of projects with solve clinical problems using computational methods.
The process is unusual and tripartite:
- Speed-dating – Wednesday 14th May 2025, afternoon
Interested clinicians in training and early career researchers will meet for a speed-dating event. Every- body will receive everybody’s contact details. Each clinician will then meet each researcher and have a few minutes to describe their research ideas and interests. Participants with compatible interests and ideas form teams. - Think Together
Teams containing at least one clinician and at least one computational researcher meet separately to work out a project proposal. - Project presentation & Award – Wednesday 9th July 2025, afternoon
Each team will each present their project. The project with the best translational application of compu- tational methods ill be awarded up to GBP 8000 to realize their project.
